A friend has produced country music that includes the lyrics and arrangement. How could he submit to artists

The music is truly outstanding and could be an instant hit for a big country artist. How can he get this music looked at by someone in the industry ?

Your friend wouldn't submit the lyrics and/or tape directly to the artists. He should look up several record companies websites (that deal with country music stars) and find a link about submissions. Most record companies will have a submission page with regulations, rules and how to go about sending the tape. If you send a tape unannounced to a record company it will go in the trash, so you have to make sure the material is solicited. That is why you have to follow their submission guidelines step by step! Below is a link I found for Nashville Records, tell your friend to email them about getting information about their submission policy!
