Country music embraces all that is good and bad with the world. Lyrics are easy to understand with a beat that doesn't peel the paint from your walls. I can let my kids listen to it without fear that they are listening to garbage about sex,rape, killing, stealing. Country instead will let them hear about living with some one forever and the loss of that love, family and forgiveness. Yes, country will also be about heart break and death, drinking to forget and horrible things that happen in a lifetime.
Thankfully country music isn't about picking up a gun and going to kill every person who doesn't think the same way that you do. It doesn't encourage drugs or expensive vehicles to make you fit in. OK–The Tractor IS Sexy…… but I digress..
It is about pride in your country and standing up for what you believe in.
I could go on forever about country music. I am glad that the music is reaching out to you and hope that it will continue to do so.
