Is it really that bad for an atheist to record a Christian record to make some money?

Yes, I have seen that episode of South Park as well, but that's not where I got my motivation. Lately I've been listening to the radio more often, and often stumble accross Christian radiot stations, and some of this music is just plain awful, I'm serious, it sounds like they've been playing the guitar for about a month, yet they throw in a few Gods and Jesus' in there and people will buy it.

I'm a reasonably successful regional musician in the Midwest, fundie country. I'm pretty confident in my songwriting ability, and feel I could at least come up with better lyrics and melodies than what I have heard from these musicians.

I'm in a bit of a internal debate on whether I should actually do this. I mean, what people don't know wont hurt them will it? If my music helps them in their faith, even if it's not mine, than the end justifys the means right?
Sorry, didn't know this was an English lit paper. I know the difference: I'm just a fast typer.
