One Response to “where can I get my country music lyrics copywrited and looked at by someone interested in them?”
You will have to send your lyrics to a publisher. I would suggest making a "poor man's copyright" first. To do this put a copy of the lyrics and music, if you have music, in an envelope, write the name of the song on the back of the envelope (one song per envelope) and mail it to yourself by Registered Mail. Don't open it, just file it away in case you need it.
Find a publishing house that accepts unsolicited material. If they accept your song they will shop it… for a fee of course.
